DESCRIPTION:

This rare build from November 11, 2006 was part of the Garry's Mod 9 NoXiousNet Source Code released to the public back in 2008. All the original code was present and modified to restore the original 20 minute surival.

GAMEPLAY:

Humans:

Kill the undead to increase your score. You get weapons at certain score levels.
Die and you will become an Undead! Humans must survive for the time set to win!

Undead:

You are part of The Undead. Kill all of the remaining humans to win the round.
You may die as many times as it takes, but do it before the time limit!

INSTALLATION:

Select lua, maps, materials, models, sound, and zs_maplist.txt and drag them to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods\gmod9.

Now test it by Start Singleplayer Game, or Create Server, and use only the maps provided.

-Restored ZombieSurvival.lua's "Survivors" class word before JetBoom mispelled it as "Survivers" *facepalm*

v1.6 03/6/2022:

-Poison zombies and fire zombies unlock on half-life wave at 50% infliction instead of 75%.
-zssplash_v4.vtf was updated to logo seen on famous Garry's Mod 10 ZS thumbnail (https://filecache.garrysmods.org/16254/1/1024x768.jpg) Thank You Tiny Desk Engineer for the contribution! :D

v1.5 02/16/2022:

-Disabled the barricade kit for exploiting reasons
-Removed the strange models/props_lab/tank_glass001 texture that appeared on the top left screen as part of the "function Splash" in ZombieSurvival.lua
-Removed minutes.mp3 and remaining.mp3 as they serve no purpose with the unused remnant FiveMinuteWarning function 
-Changed lasthuman.mp3 to the official version we now know today based on early 2006 footage playing this song
-Added zs_backstreet_v2b and zs_thecity_v1_6 (zs_backstreet and zs_thecity are no longer left out! :D)

v1.4 02/15/2022:

-Restored the 2006 version of ZS based on v4.5 provided in the NoXiousNet Source Code  instead of the experimental tier version.
-Restored the 20 minute timer instead of tiers
-Restored the original rewards
-Restored the original "kills" hud
-Recreated maplist.txt and renamed it to zs_maplist.txt
-Changed only getting points from shooting player zombie HITGROUP_HEAD to now all parts of the body in order to fit well with the NPC zombies.
-Cleaned up code to get rid of tier leftovers.
-function: gamerulesTick(), drawScore, eventNPCKilled, eventPlayerKilled, and CheckGiveWeapon is what changed from the things listed above.
-Maps now rotate thanks to restoring zs_maplist.txt
-Getting 130 kills will give you the gravity gun and 160 kills for an RPG!
-Added the barricade kit with a chance of getting it after 45 kills, useful to get to secret areas full of goods!
-Added zs_stormier_b1
-Replaced zs_forestofthedamned_v3 with zs_forestofthedamned_v2 for once again, old vibes. ;)
